In the pursuit of mindfulness I thought I would try a bit of yoga. I have no intention of covering myself in an armful of bangles and strings, start humming all over the place or even wearing tie dye baggy trousers but I do believe that I should give it a go. I decided to go for a walk with my iphone for company this week to see how mindful I could be. Living in a big City can come in on you with all the noises and frenetic feel that a big city can have. However being in London you are never that far away from a park or open space. As I live near Battersea Bridge I popped over the bridge and into Battersea Park. Well I survived the first week without too much mishap! I had my first proper training session with Adam and apart from the left leg occasionally buckling it went well and I walked out of there without holding on to the walls. That has to be progress! I also went for my weekly diet chat today and as MarkG was on holiday tanning his biceps I saw Adam again. (Poor chap is going to get fed up with me soon). On this not so lovely Sunday I decided to break my day up (drawing of course) by having a super berry oxidant smoothie. It was so healthy but also sweet tasting. I think it must have been the coconut nectar in it as I couldn't, thank goodness, taste the hemp! As I waited for it to be mixed up I sat at a table and saw these pretty flowers.
